Hi,
I wish I had more time to go birding today but while walking across campus a little before 2pm I heard a familiar "chip" call. I had my binocs with me and after a search of a minute I saw an Eastern Phoebe perched in some sort of legume tree with yellow compound leaves. Brown above, whitish below, no eye ring, tail wagging, no wing bars, dark bill. I had to leave for class so I couldn't linger.
The location is the behind the sw. corner of the Shepardson building on the east side of campus.
