SPRAGUE's PIPIT (Crowley, El Paso, Yuma)

Prothonotary Warbler (*Adams)

Tennessee Warbler (*Arapahoe)

Hooded Warbler (Arapahoe)



ADAMS COUNTY:

—On October 8 a (f) Prothonotary Warbler was banded by Meredith McBurney at the Bird Conservancy of the Rockies banding station and seen after release by Mary Burger.

—On October 3 an American Golden Plover was reported at Barr Lake by Bob Righter.


ARAPAHOE COUNTY:

—On October 7 (2) Cattle Egrets, uncommon in the county, were reported at Aurora Reservoir by David Suddjian.

—On October 8 a Tennessee Warbler was reported at Aurora Reservoir by Amanda Spears.

—On October 7 a Hooded Warbler was reported at Lee Gulch Trail, about 50 ft from Mineral Ave.  First reported on September 20 by Santiago Taberas.


CROWLEY COUNTY:

—On October 5 a SPRAGUE’S PIPIT was reported at Lake Henry by Steve Mlodinow.


EL PASO COUNTY:

—On October 5 a SPRAGUE’S PIPIT was reported at Chico Ranch Ranch (fee area) by John Drummond.


GARFIELD COUNTY:

—On October 5 a Trumpeter Swan was reported from the Rio Grande bike trail,1380 County Rd 100, Carbondale by Ted Uhlemann.


JEFFERSON COUNTY:

—On October 6 a Palm Warbler was reported at Standley Lake Park on north shore by James McCall.

—On October 3 a Palm Warbler was reported at Belmar Park on South side of lake; first reported by Kevin DeBoer on the 1st.


LARIMER COUNTY:

—On October 7 a Dunlin was reported at Timnath Reservoir; first found by Nick Komar on the 4th.


SEDGWICK COUNTY:

—On October 6 a Dunlin & an American Golden-Plover were reported at Jumbo Reservoir by Tim Smart.


YUMA COUNTY:

—On October 7 (3) SPRAGUE’S PIPIT was reported at Pipit Hill; first reported 10/5  by David Dowell.
