Franklin's Gulls Georgetown Lake Clear Creek

A great ski day yesterday put me in rest mode as I cruised by Georgetown Lake which traditionally has zilch. Surprise! Today at 10, however, 2 Franklin's were loafing on some outcrop in the middle of the lake.

That's historic, as e Bird has zero records of Franklin's Gulls there or anywhere

else between Golden and Lake Dillon!

No Ring-billed Gulls either.
