I counted 19 (10 in Montrose and 9 in Gunnison) Dusky Grouse on or next to Hwy 92 this morning between Gould Reservoir and Blue Mesa Dam. Definitely my one-day high count anywhere!

Also, this morning during a quick soggy hike on Neversink Trail at Curecanti NRA I heard one Fox Sparrow, one Gray Catbird, several Yellow Warblers, and saw one Osprey.
