Bird Bombs: Helpful Bursts of ID Info is DFO's new Zoom-based series of concise (30 minutes) blasts of field ID know-how via live Zoom-based webinar. Each episode (all are free) will be seasonally appropriate, helping birders experience the bird year as it evolves, migration to migration and beyond. Bird Bombs consist of short and informative reviews of essential bird ID topics. Each will feature a PowerPoint presentation with useful, quality images of the birds we aim to see (and hear), season to season. Colorado is our principal context, with the sharpest focus on the Front Range and greater Denver region. Each session will include a lesson on ID, an entertaining bird photo quiz, and a Q&A to wrap things up. Contributing photographers, most of them DFO members, will share their bird images for a rich visual experience.
