A juv. Sabine's Gull was on the natural pond along the north side of Park County Road 34 this afternoon. Nice cross section of ducks, but nothing else too notable there.

A late Turkey Vulture was tilting over Kenosha Pass.

Stops along the road to Boreas Pass (CR 33) had few birds, but there were several Gray Jays, Pine Grosbeak, and American Three-toed Woodpecker.

The real point of the afternoon outing was to revel in the fall color of the aspens, and it was well worth it, even if there were so many other people out for the same purpose on this Saturday afternoon.
