Sandhill Cranes flying southeast over east-central Denver (Denver County)

A few minutes before noon, a flight of about 65 Sandhill Cranes flew overhead, 4 miles east of the State Capitol and just off East Colfax, heading southeast.

At 11:39 am an estimated 330 Sandhill Cranes were flying south over the hogbacks here at Ken Caryl, JeffCo

About 10 minutes ago approximately 100 Sandhill Cranes flew over Stapleton - generally in a southern direction.  I was shoveling the driveway and heard a strange sound - I thought I had mice or squirrels in the bushes.  Then I looked up and there they were!  So exciting!
