The Surf Scoter was foraging in the JeffCo portion of South Platte Reservoir this afternoon, remaining underwater about 90% of the time during my visit.

Yesterday two Am. Tree Sparrows at Mann Reservoir in South Valley Park (JeffCo) were my 1st of the season. And four Evening Grosbeaks visited my Ken Caryl Valley yard.
