ADAMS COUNTY:

—-On April 6 a Greater Roadrunner was reported at the Barr Lake Nature Center by Ira Sanders. Second county record. Ira had the first county record too, in July,2013.

----On April 6 a Red-throated Loon was reported on the pond across the street from Elaine T Valente Open Space on 104th. First reported March 15 by Peter Ruprecht.


ARAPAHOE COUNTY:
—-On April 9 a Red-necked Grebe was reported at Aurora Reservoir by David Suddjian.

BOULDER COUNTY:

—-On April 9 a Fox Sparrow (Slate-colored) was reported at Skunk Canyon Trails by Dave Donnell.


JEFFERSON COUNTY:

—-On April 12 a Neotropic Cormorant was reported at Robert A Easten Regional Park by David Suddjian and James McCall.

—-On April 11 a Neotropic Cormorant was reported at Belmar Park by Ben Bezuidenhout.

—-On April 10 a Sagebrush Sparrow was reported at Bear Creek Lake Park by Chris Wood.
—-On April 8 a Black Phoebe was reported at Arvada Blunn Reservoir by Lorraine Lanning. First seen on April 7. 
—-On April 7 a Fox Sparrow (Slate-colored) was reported at Reynolds Ranch Count Park by Chris Wood. It was along drainage on Oxen Draw trail, about 200m above Elkhorn Trail cutoff. This subspecies breeds in our mountains, but is rarely seen in migration.


KIOWA COUNTY:

—-On April 5 a (m) Vermillion Flycatcher was reported on the north side of Sheridan Lake by Geoff Hill.

 

LARIMER COUNTY:

—-On April 5 an overwintering Winter Wren was reported at the Prospect Ponds area. First reported November of 2018.


LOGAN COUNTY:

—-On April 6 a GREAT BLACK-BACKED GULL was reported at North Sterling Reservoir and SP by Chris Wood.


SUMMIT COUNTY:
—-On April 7 a  White-winged Crossbill was reported at Blue River Trail, River Crossing by David Tonnessen.
