Today on the Blanca Wetlands tour done as a part of the Monte Vista Crane Festival we spotted a male Long-tailed Duck on the first Playa in Blanca Wetlands among a group of Bufflehead and Ruddy Ducks. It was the first record for Blanca Wetlands and the second for the San Luis Valley.
