We are delighted to introduce ornithologist, Scott Weidensaul. Scott is a renown lecturer, researcher and author specializing in raptors and hummingbirds. He has published over two dozen natural history books, including the Pulitzer Prize nominated, Living on the Wind: Across the Hemisphere With Migratory Birds. His research has been published in Audubon Magazine, Smithsonian, New York Times, Nature Conservancy and National Wildlife Federation. He is a popular instructor at Hog Island, National Audubon’s environmental education camp in Maine, for which Boulder County Audubon underwrites teen scholarships.

Please join us for this very special evening celebrating the many and varied accomplishments of Boulder County Audubon, a leading voice in he county for wildlife and wild places.
We’ll kick off this fun night with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, a catered buffet dinner and homemade desserts. And even though we probably had you at homemade desserts, we have even more in store!
This evening will also include a silent auction and a slide show featuring local birds , a challenging bird quiz and the people who have given selflessly for the last 40 years.
