50 Sandhill Cranes @ 1:30, N. Boulder

A flock of 50 Sandhill Cranes was flying south (and relatively low) above north Broadway in Boulder at 1:30 this afternoon Nov. 25.

A flock of Sandhill cranes was spotted by us northeast of Fort Collins near the Budweiser plant, about 50 of them, and at 10:30 am. Would it take them 3 hours to get to north Boulder? They were circling, trying to get some up lift. Also saw a kettle of about 4 red-tailed hawks and 2 bald eagles at the same time.

I also saw the 50 Sandhill Cranes flying over my house in Old Town Fort Collins this morning between 10:30 and 10:45.
