Northern Goshawk, south Fort Collins, Larimer County

This morning around 8:30, my daughter spotted a hawk in the back yard. Having a look, I saw that it was a Northern Goshawk, and it was enjoying one of the many neighborhood rabbits. I was here for probably 30-40 min, then flew off with the remains of the rabbit.

Just curious - how did you fly off with the remains of the rabbit?

Good point! That's what I get for typing a note to CoBirds and working at the same time!
