Prospect Park, Wheat Ridge Greenbelt, Jefferson County

Birders,

I just finished two incredible hours of birding along the Clear Creek Trail (walking trail) from

 Prospect Park to Bass and West Lakes.  It was very birdy and buggy.  Five species of swallow were swarming in a fairly small area between the two lakes.

See checklist S26038404.  I had 35 species of birds!

One note:  I tested my new iPhone 16Pro and its camera is fabulous as advertised!  I was able to take very good bird and insect pictures with the zoom features.

Wheat Ridge Greenbelt is a fantastic place to bird year around!  One of my "go to" hotspots!
