Has anyone been to Mt. Evans recently? If so, is it open and what has been seen there?

I was there this weekend.  It is open.  I saw mostly pipits, though a few Brown-capped Rosy Finches as well.  Dipped on Ptarmigan.  There is a family of Barrow’s Goldeneyes on Echo Lake.  I did not see a male, but a female and 6 or so young.

Echo Lake also has a Sora, families of Pine Grosbeaks, Red Crossbills, and Wilson's Warblers. At Mt. Goliath we had some Ruby-crowned kinglets, White-crowned Sparrows, White-breasted nuthatches, and a seemingly lost American Kestrel. Higher up we found a dozen Pipits, some Rosy-finches, a lone Robin and about 20 Common Ravens.

Oh and people. Lots of them.
