The Pleasant View Marsh area remains a very active warbler spot with hundreds of Yellow-rumped and good numbers of Wilson's and Orange-crowned. And I was "pleasantly" surprised to see that the Prothonotary Warbler was still among them. Other birds in the marsh included Red-eyed and Warbling Vireos, Ruby-crowned Kinglets and a Blue-gray Gnatcatcher.

At Cottonwood Marsh, Walden Ponds, the number of Wilson's Snipe appears to be dwindling. The Pectoral Sandpiper continues and was joined by a Lesser Yellowlegs and there are now two Greater Yellowlegs.

Good birding,
Peter
