Hi all,

This week was the start of school groups (4th graders) visiting the Ridgway State Park banding station. We've luckily had enough birds to demonstrate banding to all the groups, but just barely. Numbers have been low; we have yet to break 100 new birds (we will tomorrow.. we're currently at 98 newly banded birds). Highlights from this week include 2 Northern Waterthrush, a Western Tanager, and a Black-headed Grosbeak. Here are species lists and numbers (including recaps):
