Anyone have any luck with that little bugger this morning? Haven't seen any posts on eBird, but that doesn't mean a heck of a whole lot.

Thanks,

I was there last night from 5:30-7:30pm & did not see it. I was also there from 5:45am until 8:30am this morning. The bird had not been seen when I left. Don’t know what happened after that...

I was there 6-10am, one of the first two to arrive and last to leave. About 17 people around at max. No luck at all during that time.

Running Deer bird, technically at the CSU Environmental Learning Center, seen sporadically between at 7:05-7:18 in the usual spot.

All,

The Common Gallinule graced 5 birders with it’s presence for about 30 seconds at 7 am this morning.

Cobirders,

The Larimer County Running Deer Nature Area Common Gallinule was observed this morning at 7:20 a.m.  Two brief glimpses given to me and Dan Brook.  Given like a "gift."  The bird was seen SSW of the "arrow" or SSE from the traditional spot where most people have been seeing the bird. My tip would be to scan any opening in the cattails and tule bulrushes there.

We also had a Green Heron fly over.
