They are finally putting some water back in. I don't know how much they will fill it this winter. There were lots of birds seemingly enjoying the water's return today including a Pintail.

Hallelujah! Big Johnson will continue to be filled through March 15th this year. By then it should be ~5x higher than it is today. The water is coming in near the dam, and that is where most of the waterfowl is. You'll need a scope to get a decent view.
Fountain Mutual Irrigation is still dredging the northernmost area, and will continue to fill the reservoir over the next few years.
