Mute Swans - Boulder CO

Yesterday while doing our raptor routes in Boulder CO, Tammy and I had 2 Mute Swans on the pond just north of Lagerman Res. and west of the entrance to Lagerman. Does anyone know anything about these birds? We've never seen them at this location before.

Yes, Tim and I have seen them on that private pond all Summer and Fall. Candice Johnson, Denver

Thanks for everyone who replied about the swan posting. Apparently they are either owned by the stable or just move around the area.
