8 Common Nighthawks fly-by in Canon City tonight

Near dusk tonight while working in my yard I spotted about 8 Common Nighthawks flying westerly.  That is the most Common Nighthawks I have seen here for several years or have been reported on ebird for this area.  It is sad that this species is declining.
