As I noted in my post earlier today I found an Eastern Phoebe across the Arkansas River from the Canon City Riverwalk. That is the 4th Eastern Phoebe I saw on Friday and Saturday, 3 adults and 1 juvenile, in the Canon City area. Besides this bird, two were on private property and 1 was on a tree on 4-mile Creek just east of Grandview. Though this may be continued post breeding movement I suspect it is more likely that the birds are migrating. It is rare to find an Eastern Phoebe in Colorado in the winter though there isn't any research to indicate if they migrate south into New Mexico or more south-easterly into Texas where more birds of this species are found. I have uploaded two photos of the Eastern Phoebe I found this morning onto my Birds and Nature blog.
