Reminder: Fremont County Eurasian Wigeon is on private property

Now that the ice has melted on Canon City's eastern Valco pond the Eurasian Wigeon is likely even further back and maybe not viewable from the side of the road where it has been previously seen. Today a light colored Prius was in the parking lot and as I drove by I saw a distant birder trespassing far inside the property .  Be aware the property owner is not concerned with birders seeing their target species.  He is a strong private property rights proponent.
