Tunnel Drive trail area in Canon City (ie Rufous-crowned Sparrows) closed due to construction

For those wanting to look for Rufous-crowned Sparrows on Tunnel Drive in Canon City be aware that entire area (service road to building at bottom; trail parking lot and the trail itself) are closed for major construction to repair damage from heavy water last summer. I stopped by today and they have big heavy equipment including 2 front loaders working on moving boulders and dirt. The city which owns this area has officially closed it to the public until construction is completed.
