Saw what appeared to be a rose-breasted grosbeak x black-headed grosbeak hybrid in the top of the tree by the NW corner of the nature center at Walden ~6:20 a.m.
It had a clear white stripe over the eye, a raggedy orange triangle where a rose-breasted would have red, and a white belly.
