Colorado Christmas Bird Count Dates

Hi all,

Some Colorado Christmas Bird Count compilers have decided on what date their Christmas Bird Count will be.

Here are dates I have heard of so far, if you know the date for any other CBC in Colorado, please let me know.

Wednesday, 14 December 2022:

Fountain Creek

John Martin Reservoir

Weldona-Fort Morgan

Saturday, 17 December 2022:

Denver

Fort Collins

Monte Vista NWR

Pueblo Reservoir

I’ve been told that previously someone has done bird counts at the Greater
Colorado Council (Formerly Denver Area Council) Scout Ranch, Peaceful Valley
(now McNeil Scout Ranch at Peaceful Valley) located in Elbert County (22799
Elbert Rd, Elbert, CO 80106).



I would love to find out who that was and get copies of the counts. We are
trying to increase knowledge of the area and provide information and
activities for Scouts and their families.



If anyone knows or has access to this information I would love to see it.
