I got some lousy photos of the jaeger, when I was alone in the SE Corner of Pueblo Reservoir. Bill Maynard came down from the Springs, and he and I saw it pretty well in flight, and Pearle and Clif also saw it.
If anyone has opinions on what it is, that would good to hear. Juvenile jaeger identification is not my favorite thing.
Before the other birders came, I saw a Sanderling and four Common Terns at South Shore Marina area.
The four of us went over to West Fishing Road at Pueblo Reservoir, and saw two juvenile Sabine's Gulls, Common Tern, and Peregrine Falcon. Bill and I saw a flock of dowitchers fly by as well.
When the weather is lousy, like today, that is when the rare stuff seems to come to Pueblo Reservoir.
