There is a flock of about 20 Black Scoters, including adult males at Pueblo Reservoir, swimmimg off South Shore Marina tires currently!  Never seen this many in Colorado before.  First year Glaucous-winged Gull continues and the adult Great Black-backed Gull are both sitting on south shore marina tires.  Happy I woke up early.

The flock of 22 Black Scoters didn't stay long at South Shore Marina at Pueblo Reservoir.  Not sure where they went, I had to leave to meet people at the Nature Center.  A couple other birders were also able to see the first year Glaucous-winged Gull, before it flew off, mid-morning, at the South Shore Marina tires.  We got very nice looks at it in flight and standing on the tires.

While birding with a beginning birder class west of the Pueblo Nature Center this morning, the Red-bellied Woodpecker was seen by all present (like 22 people).  I've only seen it now twice this year, missed it more times than I've seen it.
