Had the pleasure of taking Lisa Edwards and Brandon Percival to see La Veta's lovely Varied Thrush this morning. It was fun catching up with them. Brandon spotted a Harris's Sparrow very shortly thereafter. It was great having both birds in the same binocular view!
The homeowners are still welcoming guests by appointment. I am taking a local birder over on Saturday morning. We will meet at the park in La Veta a little before 8:30 a.m. If anyone is interested, just let me know. Reply all
