Northern Shrike, Late Osprey, Longmont and Sandstone Ranch

I had an Osprey dining on a fish across from Big Gaynor Lake on  Highway 237 yesterday.    My "Birds and Brews"', Group got nice looks at a juvenile Northern Shrike at Sandstone Ranch late in the day.  We even heard its raspy call.   Carl in Niwot
