Hi all

Guess who I found at lunch ... a highly photogenic bird ... view from north-side of pond.  Bird is not skiddish.  Jamie O and friend also present.

A lot more photos here:  http://coloradobirder.ning.com/events

Thanks Gary Lefko, Nunn

Hi all

Scientist here told me the story of the "Prothonotary" name-which I did not know.
  • The name "Prothonotary" refers to clerks in the Roman Catholic church, whose robes were bright yellow.
Thought interesting enough to share.
