The N Cardinal made its first visit of the new year this morning.
Around 1:30 this afternoon a flock of 9 Pine Grosbeaks spent several minutes at the top of a very tall cottonwood across the street from my house. I had 3 Pine Grosbeaks in my yard on 12/26 (about 4 blocks from Bill Kaempfer's sighting) and 3 Pine Grosbeaks on 12/14 near 26th and Tamarack for the CBC.
I've been enjoying the influx of Cassin's Finches as well, with as many as 12 at my feeders.
I haven't seen the Fox Sparrow since mid-day 12/25.
