As many of you know, spring snowfalls create conditions that often result in concentration of migrants along the foothills.
Yesterday (and I suspect today) such conditions existed in Chatfield State Park.  A partial list of yesterday's sightings include:  hundreds of swallows (mostly Tree),  bluebirds (mostly Mountain), and sparrows (mostly Vesper).   Less common birds included:  Wilson's Snipe, American Pipits, Say's Phoebes, Sage Thrashers, Savannah and Brewer's Sparrows, and a single Eastern Bluebird and Audubon's Warbler.
