Spring Banding at Chico Basin Ranch wrapped up Saturday. Totals for the last 3 days follow. We ended the season with 658 individuals of 64 species. Highlights include a total of 9 Long-eared Owls (4 banded last spring), our second only Blue-winged Warbler, and the recapture of a Yellow-rumped Warbler banded as a hatching-year bird last September in British Columbia.
