to Cobirds
Catbirds were back at Chatfield as well, both heard and seen. (Upstream from Kingfisher bridge). Otherwise, the usual subjects-yellow warblers, yellow rumped warblers, yellow breasted chats singing out in the open and easy to see, house wrens galore, spotted towhees-tons, broadtail hummingbirds etc.
It was a beautiful evening with lots of activity and singing (not by me).
I found a BLACK LENS COVER, about 2 1/2 inches in diameter. I left it in the grass under the “experimental forest” (?trail) sign in the grass.
