Union Reservoir, Weld County

Union Reservoir, east of Longmont has open water for the first time since early December thanks to the high winds last night and today. Birds are starting to pour in: 100 Common Merganser, 50 Common Goldeneye, 4 Bufflehead, 10 Green-winged Teal, 60 Mallard, 200 Ring-billed Gull, 3 Herring Gull, 5 Bald Eagles.  Bill and Inez Prather Longmont
