...along Cherryvale opposite the Boulder OSMP HQ entrance. At least 2 males were showing off this afternoon at 4:15. Common snipe winnowing overhead.

Are those way out on the east side of the field, requiring a scope to see? I was there with binoculars 2 weeks ago and could see only red-winged blackbirds.

Binoculars are just fine as well as patience to wait for the birds to get on a perch and show themselves. It's a big field so there's plenty of room for the redwings, too.
