---On May 13 at Rocky Mountain Arsenal NWR First Creek, Dave Blue found a 1st year m Vermilion Flycatcher.   Last reported on May 18 by John Breitsch.

---On May 15 at Rocky Mountain Arsenal NWR Bluestem Loop Trail, John Breitsch reported Mountain Bluebird.  Last reported by Mary Burger on May 18.


ALAMOSA COUNTY:

---On May 14 at San Luis Lake near Mosca, John Rawinski reported Marbled Godwit, Willets, and Snowy Egret.

---On May 14 1 mile east of unction of Hwy 17 and Lane 6N, John Rawinski reported juv Scissor-tailed Flycatcher.


ARAPAHOE COUNTY:

—On May 18 at Centennial Park, Edward Donnan reported Hooded Merganser.

—On May 18 at South Platte Park-C470 Area, Bob Bishop reported Common Loon.


BOULDER COUNTY:

—On May 18 at Waneka Lake/Greenlee Preserve, Ted Floyd reported Blackpoll Warbler and 2 Hooded Merganser.

—On May 18 at Marshall Marsh, David Elwonger reported Eastern Phoebe.

—On May 18 at Old Saint Vrain Road, Carl Starace reported Chestnut-sided Warbler.

---On May 15 at Gunbarrel Commons Park, Leslie S reported Gray Flycatcher.

---On May 16 at Teller Farm and Lakes, Chuck Hundertmark reported Eastern Phoebe.


BROOMFIELD COUNTY:

—On May 18 at Alex &Michael’s Pond, Eric Zorawowicz reported Veery.

—On May 18 at the Pond west of Stearns Lake, David Ely reported White-rumped Sandpiper.



CHEYENNE COUNTY:

---On May 15 at Mitchek Ranch (Private), Glenn Walbek found and photographed a GOLDEN-CROWNED WARBLER which is visible from CR 9 about ½ mile south of the Kit Carson/Cheyenne county line.  It has been seen by several birders on May 15-18.  GOLDEN-CROWNED WARBLER would be a new state record if accept.  It is very rare outside of south Texas.    

—On May 18 several birders reported the following birds at same location as GOLDEN-CROWNED WARBLER:  Redhead, Dusky Flycatcher, Cordilleran Flycatcher, Bell’s Vireo, Red-breasted Nuthatch, Eastern Bluebird, Virginia’s Warbler, Canada Warbler and Black-headed Grosbeak.—On May 17 at Mitchek Ranch several birders reported Mourning Warbler, Hooded Warbler, Canada Warbler, Black-headed Grosbeak, and one report of Yellow-throated Warbler byScott Manwaring.

—On May 16 at Mitchek Ranch on CR 9, Joey Keller and several others reported MOURNING WARBLER, Black-throated Blue Warber, Northern Parula, American Redstart, Rose-breasted Grosbeak, Veery, Least Flycatcher, Nashville Warbler, Red-eyed Vireo, Indigo Bunting.

—On May 17 at Echo Lake area, Doug Kibbe and Elaine Wagner reported 2 Barrow’s Goldeneye.


COSTILLA COUNTY:

---On May 15 at Smith Reservoir south shore, John Rawinski reported Whimbrel.


DELTA COUNTY:

---On May 16 at Fruitgrower Reservoir, Betty Fenton reported Glossy Ibis.
