A non-birder acquaintance in Parker sent me this photo wondering what it was.  Given that it's too distant and blurry to see vital things like bill-shape, tail shape, head markings, or even size --it's a bit of a challenge.  Any thoughts after you zoom in?  It looks a bit to me like a Dickcissel -- possible?  Or a Meadowlark without the usual posture and part of V obscured?

Looks like Western Meadowlark. The shape is perfect, it is very bright yellow on the front, and if you look close, the dark "V" that you mentioned is visible!
