Scoters at Frederick reservoir - Weld

Just checked out Frederick Res. for waterfowl. Good assortment including Canvasbacks, Redhead, Scaup, and tons of Ruddy Ducks, as well as FOS Cackling Geese for me. Highlight were three female/immature Surf Scoters pretty close to parking lot, and one female/immature Black Scoter more out in the middle, requiring a scope to view. Swamp Sparrow in reeds/cattails also nice to see.
