Surf Scoter-Weld County

This morning at 10:00 there was a Surf Scoter on the lake at the Frederick Recreation Area on Colorado Blvd between Hwy 119 and Hwy 52. There were also 100+ Ruddy Ducks, about 8 Common Goldeneyes, Canada and Cackling Geese.

The Eastern Towhee reported by Cathy Sheeter remains at the Banner Lakes SWA in Weld County,and was easy to find thanks to her excellent directions.
