COBirders,
Not a rarity but in some years very hard to find. Today, I had several pairs of Chestnut-collared Longspurs on County Rd. 69 just south of Rd. 104 on the Pawnee National Grasslands. For those interested in this bird the exact coordinates are: 40.728171,-104.409255
McCown’s Longspurs were everywhere and very easy to see.
