Today we had a nice mix of late-season birds, including the full range of Yellow-rumped Warblers (Audubon's, Myrtle, and an intermediate). A late Wilson's Warbler and 2 Gray Catbirds also made an appearance and we rounded out the morning with the usual suite of sparrows. Overall we banded 17 birds of 9 species and surprisingly had no recaps from prior days. Here are the totals:
Wilson's Warbler - 1
Yellow-rumped Warbler (2 Audubon's, 2 Myrtle, 1 intermediate)
Orange-crowned Warbler - 2
Gray Catbird - 2
Hermit Thrush - 1
White-breasted Nuthatch - 1
Lincoln's Sparrow - 1
Song Sparrow - 1
Gambel's White-crowned Sparrow - 3
