Eastern Phoebe, Salida, Chaffee Co. 4/11

[Konchog Norbu]

On Friday I saw an Eastern Phoebe at the Sands Lake SWA (Chaffee Co.). It was calling next to the platform that juts out toward the river at the back of the pond.

Then, today, at Johnson Lake in the San Luis Valley (Saguache Co.), feeding with 10 White-faced Ibis, were a Great Egret and a Marbled Godwit. About 100 White-throated Swifts swarmed in, FOY flock.
