CO birders :
Bill Maynard found a Prothonotary Warbler earlier this afternoon at the northern end of Fountain Creek Park , near mile marker 18 ( where the Woodcock was seen earlier this year ) . A small stream runs close to the path and the bird is often seen alongside the stream with several Northern Waterthrushes . There is a hatch of small insects which is attracting multiple Yellow-rumped and Yellow Warblers , so don't be fooled by the Yellow Warblers which have a subtly different song to PROW . Park at the north end of the Park and walk 200 yards south.
