Denver Birding Question

Hi All, 

I will be in Denver next week and should be able to do some birding. I have looked up the ebird hotspots, but was hoping that some of you would share your favorite birding spots with me. I should have both full and half days to bird. In addition to Denver, I will be driving from Texas and may have limited opportunity to bird a few areas off of I-25. If there is anything special that I need to know about a birding site, please let me know. I have never birded in Colorado before and I am not sure of the regional specialties that I should be looking for so any info about them would be much appreciated, too!

Welcome to Denver!! I would recommend Chatfield State Park. It's seems to be a very good hot spot. And we'll it's just beautiful. Hope all goes well.

Definitely check out the information at www.coloradocountybirding.org, which should give you plenty of options for birding in and around Denver.
