This morning at Timnath Reservoir, there were three Caspian Terns on the sand spit and four smaller Forster-type terns on a grassy spit towards the north end. The usual suspects of Pelicans, Cormorants, Gulls (mostly Ring-billed with a couple of California mixed in), Western-type Grebes, Pied-billed Grebes, several species of ducks, and a few white-cheeked Geese were also there but I didn't spend too much time looking through them. The numbers of Killdeer have increased with several dozen on the north shore along with a few Baird's Sandpipers and about 10 Spotted Sandpipers.
