This is truly incredible. eBird's previous high count for the species in Colorado was 4, nearly 40 years ago.

These were still visible this afternoon along with a ton of other shorebirds. I counted five Black-Necked Stilts and got the red exclamation point from eBird for a high count. Really nice birding if you can stand the wet and cold.
