Hi
Probably not that unusual of a sighting, but what could be unusual was that it was resting on a small bare branch, forty to fifty feet up in a dense spruce tree in our backyard. Makes one wonder how often does this happen and if so could there be more Common Nighthawks migrating through urban Denver than we estimate?
