Hello! I don't have a photo but I've seen a duck at Cottonwood Lake in Lakewood, (Jefferson County), on August 7 at 6:00AM and on August 4 around noon - and I can't seem to identify it. It is a soft brown color but with a grayish beak and orange legs. It's about 50% larger than the mallards that it hangs out with and quacks loudly and often. It also appears to have a damaged wing as one set of feathers on it's back sticks straight up. At first I thought maybe a juvenile goose but it's just not goose-like and is always hanging out with the mallards. And, again, it has a very loud duck-like quack.

I would like to hear from the experts as to what this might be?

It is a Khaki Campbell. It is an European domestic duck, that is from England,  that is a cross between a Mallard, a Rouen, and a Runner.
